Ingredients
• 3 lemon wedges
• A handful of mint (5-6 leaves)
• 22.2ml (3/4oz) Simple sugar syrup
• 60ml (2oz) Barnes & Brown “Southern Belle” Non-Alcoholic Bourbon
• Ice (for shaking and for serving)
• Mint sprig and lemon wedge for garnish
How to make a Whiskey Smash Mocktail
This 19th-century concoction is similar to a Mint Julep, with the addition of refreshing muddled lemon wedges. Using just 4 key ingredients, it’s definitely one for the Dry July recipe books!

Add lemon wedges, mint and sugar syrup to a short glass.

Muddle the ingredients to release the flavours.

Add bourbon.

Transfer to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well for 30 seconds.

Pour into a short whiskey glass with large ice cubes.

Garnish with mint and lemon.
